GPS
Track Chat uses GPS to pinpoint your location. The race tracks are augmented by the Twitter avatars of every GPS enabled Track Chat user. People that share your opinion, or just want an in-person chat, can easily be found using the map of the track. You can manually choose how often Track Chat refreshes your location. Don't want to share your location? Simply disable the GPS setting in the app!
-
Tweets
The app will automatically notify you of the newer tweets that are available, which you can't currently see. Just touch the update button and the tweets will be refreshed to the latest available for the selected track.
-
Hashtag
The integrated Twitter comes with preset hashtags visible in the upper right corner for each track, so it's easy for you to see, copy and start twittering along about that current event. Tilting your device hides the tweets and expands the map over the entire screen, for a more accurate view of where people are.
-
Twitter
With Twitter integrated into the app, there is no need for you to switch apps to send out a message. Just log in once, and you'll never have to worry about it again.
